Gu Li-Sheng

Master Gu Li-Sheng was one of the few disciples of Grand Master Yang Shao-Hou. Master Gu achieved 1st place for the Tai Chi performance in the 1959 National Games of China which were held in Beijing. These games are a national version of the Olympic Games.
From 1940 to 1970, Master Gu gave lessons in the city of Guiyang. He instructed his students in Tai Chi Chuan, Tai Chi Chang Chuan, Tai Chi Sword, Tai Chi Saber, Tai Chi Spear, Tai Chi Staff and Tai Chi Push-hands. One of Master Gu’s disciples, Li Ke-Jun, took 1st Place in the in the 1980 Beijing National Games.
