Pushing Hands is first and foremost an exercise in sefl-defense that is done in a playful manner. The Pushing Hands workshops focus on the Ting Jin (listening/feeling of intention) of the opponent. This is the 'secret' weapon that enables the weak to overcome the strong and makes it the most facinating part of Pushing Hands.

The San Shou workshops concentrate on different exercises designed to improve footwork, fa jin and sparring strategy .These workshops gives the Taiji pratictioner a chance to apply Taijiquan in self-defense situations. Qigong:
Qigong is an exercise system specifically for health maintenance that was created some 6000 years ago in China. The goal of Qigong is to improve one's health and to prevent sickness. According to Traditional Chinese Medicine is Qigong the most important exercise to keep our energy (Qi) in balance.
San Wei Qigong was created by Grand Master Yang Shao-Hou and is an excellent exercise that can create enormous health improvements in a short amount of time. ''San' means three and 'wei' means dimension. San Wei Qigong activates the positive energy in the body by the powers of concentration.
Students that experience San Wei Qigong comment on the immediate feedback they get when they practice it for the first time. There are no special requirements to participate in any of the Qigong workshops.
Fa Jin:
Fa Jin is one of the most important aspects of Taijiquan. The ability to apply Fa jin is the moment of truth for Taiji practitioners. According to the Taiji Classics, Fa jin must be as 'fast as an arrow leaving the bow'. At Nei Gong, students are taught step-by-step on how to develop Fa Jin.
The above descriptions are just a small example of the system that Grand Master Yang Shao-Hou has developed. The principles of Taiji form the basis for these workshops. These workshops are open to all individuals, regardless of their particular style or skill level.
